Gate crashers tell their story on Today Show

Today Michaele and Tareq Salahi, the wannabe's, who gate crashed the White House dinner, insisted that they were invited to the event. They were interviewed by Matt Lauer on The Today Show at 7:35 am (ET) this morning.

They were not paid for the interview, but of course got their 15 minutes of fame extended by The Today Show giving them any publicity.

"We are going to work with the Secret Service [to show proof that they were invited to the event]," said Tareq Salahi.

If they were invited to the event, why did they sneak in through the busboy entrance? They remind us of that Cuban spy couple Walter Kendall Myers and Gwendolyn Myers.
